Not sure about this one - according to that filmography, he's almost always credited as Rainbow/Sun/Francks - do you have any other sources that confirm Rainbow//Francks is the better way to go?

I agree. Most other sites list him as Rainbow/Sun/Francks
Either way his last name should be Francks not Franks as originally suggested (I assume it was a typo).

I think this is a good example where it's borderline whether to use the full name or not.
In these circumstances we should favour the full name because of the way the searching worls:
ie

Typing: "Rainbow Sun Francks" will only display Rainbow/Sun/Francks
Typing "Rainbow Francks" will display both Rainbow/Sun/Francks & Rainbow//Francks

So only the full name displays with both searches.

There's still a lot of Rainbow Suns in that filmography in my opinion so I'm still not convinced - I've started a poll to see what everyone else thinks.

Either way it maybe a good idea to get both credited names linked together...also found out he sometimes goes by the name of Snydley Whiplash. (found at TV.com)
Looks like most of his TV /Film works are as RSF and his music  etc as RF, yes I know we don't profile music etc.

Snydley Whiplash?
I only know him from Stargate Atlantis, so I was thinking how many profiles would have to be changed if we went with the other name.

On a different matter we seem to have a winner on the Deborah Harry poll, so I'm requesting that it be added to the list:

Deborah // Harry = Debbie Harry (poll here)

Maybe this helps for this project:
When you import your collection (the XML export file) into an empty Viewer database, you'll have a list of already used CommonName-Alias combinations in your Profiler database when using "Edit->Cross Links".
Also, when using "Tools->SQL queries" and sending query "select CommonName, AliasName from Alias Order by 1" you can copy this list to clipboard (rightclick on result list and select "copy to clipboard").

Which to use as the ‘common name’ for Mr. Campbell [1959] of Once & Again\The 4400

The best might be to use his real Name: William O. Campbell

    a) William Campbell [1927] (Star Trek: TOS\DS9 as Koloth\Trelane, Quincy M.E.)
Note he sometimes is also credited as Billy\Bill

    b) Bill Campbell (A) [1959) (Star Trek: TNG as Thadiun Okona, 4400, O&A)

          He is sometimes credited as:
              1. William Campbell
              2. William O. Campbell
              3. William “Ollie” Campbell (He uses this one See: http://www.picton-castle.com/ship_and_crew/the_crew.php)
              4. Bill Campbell
              5. Billy Campbell

    c) Bill Campbell (B) [YOB?] (Soldier Boyz, Basta't kasama kita & Delta Force 2)
    d) Bill Campbell (C) [YOB?] (The Local & JailCity)
    e) Billy Campbell [YOB?]  (The Circuit, Love Actually & Gavin's Way)

What do you think?

My submission has been approved and the poll seems to agree, so I'd like to propose:

Deborah//Harry = Debbie Harry (actor)

Alan J. Wendl = Alan Wendl (actor)
and
Josh Charles = Josh A. Charles (actor) - from the same profile

from this profile:
Andrew//Robinson = Andy Robinson (actor)

also
Rainbow/Sun/Francks = Rainbow Francks, Snydley Whiplash
seems to be the most popular format according to the poll.

The below taken from the main list in the 1st post. Shouldn't these be the other way round with the common name having the comma, as agreed in the poll.

Quote:
Frank//Mancuso Jr. = Frank Mancuso, Jr. (producer) [currently out of guideline on comma]

Edit: I've only justed noticed the "[currently out of guideline on comma]" comment. Why is this actor the exception to the guideline?

It's not an exception. I just did it wrong and I have to fix it.

I'm traveling with PDA access only. Be back Tuesday. I'll update the master list when I return. If I try to do so using my PDA, it would not be pretty.
