I am deflecting NOTHING. You are making groundless accusations. You need to learn to follow the Rules, with your votes as well as your Contributions.

It was your vote FOR Bull Durham and bad data. it is your vote FOR South Pacific and bad data. It is your vote for much of the bad data that currently is in the database. And like I said i will happily point it out each and every time.

Wow, I didn't know my votes are responsible for much of the bad data in the database. That's impressive achievement on my part. Did I vote yes when you contributed the IMDb cast for A Very Long Engagement? Since you said it was as-credited, I probably did. Shame on me.

And thank you James, for confirming what I have said so many times about you and the Rules.

You have recently been proven to have contributed IMDb data to Invelos while calling it "STRICTLY As Credited", so you have no standing on which to say anything to me. Ever. Again.

Or in other words...

I completely agree. It's not Skip's fault he contributed 3 YEAR OLD data without bothering to check it while still claiming it was AS CREDITED. It's completely James' fault for not voting "no" to it!!!!

You are makking an ASSumption, north. One which you cannot support. I have looked and I cannot determine what happened, it does appear that somewhere along the way my data was corrupted and I may not have picked up on it. It does tell me i have to install some more data safe procedures, to try and eliminate such ocurences. Now north, I will be happy to play your game if you really want me to. Not something that is my choice, but then i don't run around looking for excuses to attack you either, something which appears to be a favorite pastime of yours and your colleagues, in fact there have been several posts of late where i have tried to assist you

And as your data can no longer be trusted, I have ignored every single one.

The Very Long Engagement profile was created in July 2005 - FACT
You submitted IMDB cast data in February 2008 - FACT
You stated in the contribution notes it was "As Credited" - LIE

If your data had been corrupted then it was YOU who made the ASSumption when you submitted it.

Your first reply to me was a personal attack. I did not speak about you in my post. I posted my opinion about the subject and you attacked my credibility. It would be nice if you could let people post differing opinions without attacking them personally and bringing up every infraction that you can list, especially when your closet is far from clean.

Every single one of us has made mistakes at one time or another. There is no need to bring these issues to the forums.

The amount of finger pointing that goes on in this forum is very troublesome. It is not productive and can only cause resentment and hard feelings. Haven't we lost enough members because of the way people treat each other?

So, once again I would like to ask everyone to please stop with the negative postings. If you are going to be unkind - stop it. Don't drive anyone else away.

I will make one last comment to bot North and james

First north, even I granted your outlandish comment, one mistake in 10's of thousands of Contribution. I still have more credibility than you as demonstrated by your repeated hostile behavior.

James, if you feel your credibility was attacked, thenit was for good reason. As I said I can document many huindreds of flawed votes cast by yourself im direct violation or the Rules or ignoring bad data. I have highlighted but two of the most recent. Voting yes to a user who is ADDING (uncredited) data without any form of documentation. There is (uncredited) data already on board the Profile but the Contributor is ADDING more? Plus some other ills. And i will repeat a thorn in my side

"SRP
Use the SRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) at the time of the DVD’s original release using the currency type matching the locality of the DVD. Do not change the SRP in DVD Profiler to reflect reductions in SRP that distributors make in continually over time following release. Ensure the currency type matches the locality of the DVD. Do not make contributions with changes of a few cents/pence to the SRP. "

There is no exception there none. Don't do it, and don't vote YES for such a Contribution. As you did, and the spun it, despite the fact that the Rule simply says NO.

I have good reasons, James, as you well know, you might not  like it, but the reasons are valid, and i will poin that you every time i see them. Tighten it up, son.

My apologies to Kathy, and i have said my peace.

Great post Kathy, a green arrow for you!

I'm sure I'll be thrown in the 'Spotters' group, but if you look at the majority of the bickering it usually has one person as the common denominator.  I find it amusing that it has been proven that he has submitted bad data to the database, instead of admitting as such he says it must have been corrupted along the way without really taking ownership of his mistake.  He also wants everyone to cut him some slack for it, but that is hard for some people to do since he is so willing to accuse others of trying to do it on purpose when they make a bad submission.

His indiscretions are well documented, has over 10k posts but doesn't have a single star.  Many good members have stopped posting/contributing because they grew tired of him.  This is who he is, and he will continue to act this way until he is given a reason to change.  I'm not sure exactly why his poor behavior is tolerated, you'd think it'd be in the sites best interest to get rid of all the negativity that surrounds him.
