Ken Clark 1927 (B-movie action actor, Attack of the Giant Leeches, Italian films of 1960s) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Clark_(actor) http://www.flixster.com/actor/ken-clark http://www.movietome.com/people/2398/ken-clark/index.html http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0164153/
Ken Clark 1964 (stunt man, Clerks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) http://www.trailerfan.com/name/ken_clark http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0164154/ http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Ken_Clark A correction to this: The Ken Clark in CLERKS is a *third* Ken Clark. After someone raised a question, I contacted the Stunt Man Ken Clark via email and while he confirmed all the other credits he said he is NOT the Ken Clark who was in CLERKS. I have contacted several people involved in CLERKS but none of them knew any contact information for that Ken Clark, let alone a birth year. So he should NOT be linked to the other two Ken Clarks. My contribution on CLERKS X, sad to say, was in error, for which I apologize, and thus far I've hit a dead end for differentiating him. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

The CLT has Curtis Jackson: 33 titles (94 profiles) 2 titles as credit as Curtis Jackson: Home of the Brave Righteous Kill
Source for birth year: 50 Cent AKA Curtis Jackson - 1975 http://www.50cent.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50_Cent

| Posted: | | | | I am currently preparing a contribution for the australian tv-series "Hey Dad" where one of the main characters is played by australian actor Paul Smith. There is another actor Paul Smith who played Rabban in Dune.
Sources for the australian actor (born 1968): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Smith_(Australian_actor) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0809533/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_Dad...!
Sources for the other Paul Smith (born 1939): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_L._Smith http://www.answers.com/topic/paul-l-smith http://www.imdb.de/name/nm0809550/
It seems that the Paul Smith from Dune has a middle name (Lawrence), but credit lookup tool gives 199 titles (430 profiles) for Paul Smith and only 55 titles (133 profiles) for Paul L. Smith, so I gather he should be credited as Paul Smith... |

| Posted: | | | | But how many of those 199 titles with Paul Smith is the 1939 one? Maybe we don't need a BY for him? Maybe we could use Paul L. Smith as his common name? | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity |

From what I could find out, the australian actor more or less only did do the "Hey Dad"-series where he also left after 40 episodes. All the profiles I checked from the 199 other profiles had the Paul Smith who was born 1939 in it. I would not have any problem with using the "Paul L. Smith" entry as general name, but I always thought it was a rule to use the name which is mentioned in more profiles as the common name? Of course I could change the name in the profiles I have to "Paul L. Smith", but what about the general database. There still would be a mixup then, wouldn't it? |

But the number of entries the CLT returns for "Paul Smith" doesn't tell you anything: that number contains various people named "Paul Smith". So you can't really compare them with the "Paul L. Smith" number. To be absolutely sure, you'd need to find out whether that particular Paul (L.) Smith is actually mostly credited with or without his middle initial. And the CLT won't provide you with a quick answer to that question. |

| Posted: | | | | I took a look at the CLT results for Paul Smith and found that the correct results for the Paul Smith in discussion here are 14/136. The other numbers are mostly from the 1929 Paul Smith, Paul J Smith the composer and Paul Smith the sound editor. The numbers for Paul (L.) Smith are therefor 14/136 vs 55/133 in favor of Paul L. Smith. No BY is needed for Paul L. Smith (A birthyear is needed for the Australian actor though, as there are other Paul Smiths out there) | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |

It is not as though the actor was a crew member or vice versa? Rogue.9 provided me link to Ian Fleming (1908 - 1964) Author of James Bond to his so called appearance in From Russia with Love http://www.eeggs.com/items/12057.html and I got the DVD out and too be honest, you really can't tell. The IMDB and the BFI do not have him uncredited and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_Russia_with_Love_(film) also uncertain and they point to a Fan FAQ. http://www.hmss.com/afjb/FAQpage4.htm As for Interviews Ian Fleming (1908 - 1964) they have only so far being included in special feature of DVDs therefore he won't get a credit.
