We all know how thing works arround here and doing it for the online database would be the openning of a can of worms. So the off-line way is the best way to resolve the linking problem in a personal level (it would be even possible to finally link the acting and crew job that way). It's quite unlikely that Invelos will ever release an official Android version.
But a user developed quite a good alternative. You might want to check it out.
