| | Posted: | | | | Wow; I don't even have 100 HiDef titles when you combine my Owned and Wish Lists, even though I have over 1800 DVDs with another 1200 on the Wish List. I only actually own, err, 33 (with 3 more on the way) so that's a mere 1.8% of my collection (though to be fair I only got a BluRay player and HiDef TV a couple of months ago...) Lots of my purchases tend to be TV shows which I watch on my work's laptop when working away from home stuck in a hotel so until they fit a BluRay drive (hmmm) I wouldn't be able to play them and wouldn't see any benefit if I could! Therefore I'm only buying Movies on BluRay, at least for now, and even then only ones which I think would really benefit from the upgrade or are not yet in my collection... | | Posted: | | | | Hi! it's me again - the one who started this thread.... Over the past 2.3 years (March 2009) I have added at least 350 more blu ray movies to my collection! My HD total is now up to around 750 (only 89 of those are HD-DVD). I have 660 blu rays in my collection and more on order. If you add in regular DVDs I'm into the thousands...4000-something in my profile. I have been collecting since near the beginning of DVDs though. Seems I can't avoid buying a least 200-300 discs per year! I'm rapidly heading for the 1000+ HD Club! I'll let you all know when I'm there! Storage is becoming a major issue these days to say the least. |
