I'm just wondering, now  that people have started contributing, is there a way to check what in my local database is in the online and what's not ?

I'd love to help but I don't want to contribute some stuff that's already there !

I found a good trick:
Change 'View Columns' in your collection list, so that you can see the field 'Last Edited' -
all DVDs with an old date are possible imports from 2.4 and you can newly contribute them for 3.0

I have been uploading profiles every day from the 16th of this month.  They normally take (as MarcCastermans stated) a day to be accepted/declined.  However the contributions I sent on the 20th are still showing received.

New contributions are being dealt with in a day. Updates are being given at least 3 days for Voting and may, also, be delayed because new profiles are being given priority and there are just so many of them at the moment.

I just upgraded from version 2.4, and converted my registration key for 3.02. The key says it's an unlimited key, but for some reason when I go to the database section, I am told I can't access that part and should upgrade to an unlimited key. Why is this?

Have you a) uploaded your online database - so the program knows which dvds you own
and b) I think there is a delay of a few days before you can see the database. (I can't remember the exact reason but it may be you need to confirm your email address if its a freebie email?)

i converted the database to version 3 but i cannot find the same upc than in old version... like, i am looking for "nuit de nocesÉ ( a french mkovie) but cannoit find it anywhere, even with the upc code... is there a way we can list those movies manually in our database and attach a image file with it?

best regards
Jebelis

Unfortunately they are not linked together.

This is a completelydifferent company, even though the program has the same name.

The Database here has been rebuilt from scratch. If there is something you have that is missing you should feel free to submit it.

Please make sure it conforms to the current contribution rules before submitting. (Will save you a lot of grief that way)

I have noticed that contrary to the version 2.4 the version 3 does not redirecte me to the site to show me what I want to contribute for is this okay or do I have to set something up (I've tried to locate anything that could relate to that in the options but without succes)?

If it is a new contribution, it won't take you to the site.

When is the online database going to be full? Or is it all up to Us, the users? Yesterday I tried to add My last purchases on My collection with the UPC code and every other DVD was not in there. So I added them on my DVD-profiler 2.4 because that found them all.

Like skip said, if people don't contribute then it won't be there.
Same with 2.4 someone just happened to contribute it there.

Ken has stated that he is intending to merge the two databases. No timescale has been set.
