Think Leonardo did a great job as usual DSig
I just gotta say that the most movie Leo does. He does a great job. He's one of the best out there. So why havent he won any Oscars yet? Beyond me. Probably pi**ed in the Garden of some Academy members. Or the Academy is still ashamed of giving Oscars to "Titanic" | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Hehe, well.. I think he is one of those that deserve a' Oscar. Even though i didnt liked\got the "Shutter Island" i thought that his performance in that movie was atleast Oscar worthy IMO. And this year he was snubbed too. |

| Posted: | | | | Battlestar Galactica: Razor Region 1 Released: 12/4/2007 Anamorphic 1.78 Just watched this for the first time. Although I greatly enjoy the Battlestar Galactica series, this one was just too disjointed for my tastes. Maybe the editing .. maybe the writing I don't know. Just didn't feel complete. It was 'good' so gave it a 3 for BG fans .. but might be stretching it with a 3 DSig |

| Posted: | | | | Kind of a cheat because although i have it in my collection .. i watched it with the family on Encore. Secondhand Lions: New Line Platinum Series Region 1 Released: 2/3/2004 Anamorphic 1.85:1 This is an excellent movie. It is true that I only give it 4 (should probably be 4.5) but every time it is on I watch and enjoy like the first time i saw it. The performances by Michael Caine and Robert Duvall, as Walters uncles, are great. And I think that Haley Joel Osment is growing into a fine actor. There are strong bit/character performances by Kyra Sedgwick, Nicky Katt and Josh Jucas. The script is create. The editing is great. This is fine movie overall. |

| Posted: | | | | The Secret World of Arrietty All Regions Released: 5/22/2012 Widescreen 1.85:1 We (me & my mom) watched Arrietty over at my friend Rogage's place with him and his daughter. A bit of a cheat, like you with Secondhand Lions because we watched it On Demand since his blu-ray player is broken (it stops midway through movies). Great film. Solid 4. I might give it higher when I watch it with the original voice actors. The animation is the gorgeous, detailed, uber high-quality that we have come to expect from Studio Ghibli. The story was good, though I though it could have been explored a little more. The dub was quite solid, for a dub, especially Carol Burnett as Hara, but I'm not fond of dubs and look forward to watching it again here at home with the original voices and subtitles. Before we put on Arrietty we tried to watch Cave of Forgotten Dreams 3D All Regions Released: 11/29/2011 Widescreen 1.78:1 because Rogage has a 3D TV. But we only got half way through. From the first half of the film, I'll give it a solid 4 as well, could get higher after I finish the film. Wonderful documentary. I look forward to finishing it tomorrow here at home in 2D on my square TV. And then a week ago we watched Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Special Collector's Edition Region 1 Released: 9/23/2003 Full Frame 1.33:1 at my friend Katrina's. She told me to bring a cheesy movie to her party (celebrating finishing her full first year of teaching). I said I'd bring the cheesiest one I owned, but my mom overruled me on The Beast That Killed Women. We compromised on the first Killer Tomatoes film (I have all 4). It's a great film for what it is - once dubbed the worst vegetable movie ever made (I don't know about that, there are 3 sequels...) Campy parody, lots of cheese, lots of jokes that are funnier now (because I've seen more movies) than when I saw this on TV in the mid-80's. A solid 3/5 for it's genre because I was entertained throughout the film and everyone in the room laughed a lot. It's low-budget shclock, but if you like that sort of thing this is a good example of it. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |

| Posted: | | | | It has been a very long workday and I think my movie/terminal load has been reached. The Witches of Eastwick Region 1 Released: 8/22/1997 Anamorphic 2.35:1 This is a very fun movie driven by great performances of Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer. Additional outstanding character performances by Verionica Cartwright, Richard Jenkins and Carel Struycken. The writing does a great job from the original book by John Updike. This is a dark 'dramady' with emphasis spread between comedy and drama. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 73 and I give it a 3.5 It is a very good movie that everyone should watch. | Posted: | | | | Could be another long work day so starting with some laughs .. Analyze That: Widescreen Edition Region 1 Released: 5/13/2003 Anamorphic 1.78:1 Once again, in 'Analyze That' those wacky gangsters are back. This is the sequel to 'Analyze This'. Once again with director Harold Ramis at the helm, Robert DeNiro and Billy Crystal trade barbs. Another fun character performance by Joe Viterelli (always a good time). This being a sequel, it would require much to maintain the rating of the original but it doesn't quite work. Some of the gags are to streched and to me the final 15-20 minutes didn't really flow. Although I would recommend this movie to any DeNiro/Crystal fans, as a sequel I can only give the move a 3of5. |

| Posted: | | | | I love the Analyze This\That. Pure genious if you ask me. Hilarious movies. Laughing as hard everytime i see them. I think Mr.Dinero is doing a great job in those! And its nice to see him do comedy too. Not only gangster movies. (tho, those are epic) But yeah. Analyze This\That is pretty high up on my list of comedy's. Up there with old school Jim Carrey stuff! |
