Is it allowed to add a cast list from a language that isn't the same as the language of the DVD's locality,  besides the original cast list of course?

I've just seen a contribution where a French cast list was added to a profile where French isn't an official language.

For overviews I know that it's only allowed to use the language of the DVDs locality but for audio tracks I couldn't find if it's allowed to add this according the rules.

I wouldn't even enter "correct" localised voice-over actors if they aren't listed within the main-credits, but merely as a "forced extra-chapter" after the end of the feature.

For those that do enter these, I see absolutely no reason, why those shouldn't be entered for every available Audio-Track (if listed and as long as you don't have to manipulate player settings in order to make the Audio-Tracks available).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I'm not terribly interested either.

Ugh. I can see how this isn't expressly forbidden, but rest assured that I'll lock my profiles to keep this out of my database.

Personally, I add the local cast list. Maybe that's because they're are mostly broadcasted on TV with the local audio track, but I don't think a French audio track will add something to a profile where French is not one of the locality's official languages.

Personally I'm not interested in cast lists non other than the actual cast list from the endcredits and the local cast list though I understand that people don't want to add cast lists besides the one from the endcredits.

Actually thinking this point to the end will logically have to lead to omitting all Audio Tracks except for the localised (and possibly, but not necessarily, the Original Audio).

I don't think that anyone would want this.

I like to track the voice actors for localized animated features. It's one of the selling points after all and is usually advertised on the packaging. They are usually credited after the original cast listing so I see no problem adding them as long as the source is the disc itself. However, it does NOT mean that I'm interested in the voice actors from any other locality. And it would usually require that I select another language on my player or disc menu to see these credits anyway, something I have no reason to do.

It looks like the staff have decided to decline this kind of contributions. Personally I agree with that decision.

I'm against adding voice actors who are not credited in the movie. If they get accepted, the least minimum requirement is to tag them as Uncredited, and no invented dividers. If there really is a general interest in voice actors within the cast section, then the voice actors for every additional language: I would not deny a French user who lives in Spain and buys an Italian release of an English movie his credits.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]
