Thanks rdodolak, that's what I was looking for.

But as I said, this is my first Smartphone, so all of this is a little over my head. Probably will need help, step by step.

I'm going to apologize in advance as I may have misspoken.  I could have sworn I connected via USB before but looking at the current setup guide it only talks about 3G/4G or Wi-Fi.  Maybe my memory is failing me.

EDIT: What I might be remembering is the reverse USB tethering which allows you to share your PC connection with your phone through the USB cable.  However, in order to enable that feature your phone has to be rooted which I won't recommend in your case.

If I create a duplicate database and just keep my owned collection of about 3,600, how long would that take?

I just wish that I could just connect my phone to my PC via the USB cable and just transfer it that way.

You can connect to the DVD Profiler software on your PC and download the database that way.  You just need to connect your phone to your PC via the USB cable that came with the phone.

Really??? How can I do this???

Edit: Sorry, I just missed your last post...

Yeah, it looks like the only way to transfer my database to the phone would be via the website. Which would eat up my units too much. I was so hoping that the cable method would be a viable option.

If you had a WiFi access point or router then you could download from the online Database or your PC without eating up your assigned mobile units.

Hi Cubby,
It seems that a used wireless router (and a LAN cable if your computer doesn't have wireless capability) would be best.
As we have the same phone it would be nice to have somebody out there that I could check with if anything  out of the ordinary happened.  And the App is really neat!

if you have a smartphone then wifi at home would be really useful for you to

view/reply email
browse internet
transfer music to your phone from your PC
View kindle books on your phone
etc.

I'm very surprised you are not connecting to the internet with a router (and I haven't seen one that isn't wifi as well nowadays..)

Long time no see. Anyway had to move and right now where I live has no internet, so doing this via my phone.

So I was thinking of getting one of those pay as you go portable hot spots so that I can get back on the internet on my desktop.

As I stated before, my computer has no wi-first built in. So what would I need? Some sort of wi-first adapter that connects in the usb port? My desktop has Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1. Does any adapter work with Windows 7?
