Not threatening to go find a different product. Those have all been tried to no avail. It's just the way things are around here. It's been that way for the 9-10 years I've been here. I certainly wish we could change it, but I don't know how. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Just to add my 2bits, I understand them not raising the expectation by not giving any delivery dates ... . Also I prefer receiving a software without bugs. There are so many unfinished software out there, I prefer waiting, and getting a great software to the equal of this one. (And if I understand correctly they are starting from nothing.) Anyway, I will be there when the iPhone software will come. The only thing is we are looking now for means to get our collection on the iPhone and besides the web nothing came close to my knowkledge yet. They still have room to work on it, business wise. Since I didn't see anything to replace the great DVDprofiler. So for now, I'll just keep a eye out for the iPhone Profiler. And I like the way we keep this civilised. |

| Posted: | | | | Ken, why use parallels to run XP in a Mac environment? Your wasting system resources! Mac OS 10.5 and up has Boot Camp assistant that lets you partition your Mac hard drive and allows you to run windows native, all the way up to Windows 7 (with 10.6) and your not running an operating system within a program within another operating system. Go to the utilities folder of your Mac and launch Boot Camp Assistant. follow the instructions and set asside the disc space you think you will need for installing XP and other software. I would recommend at least 30 GB. Your second OS install disk contains all the drivers for the windows environment. I promise, you'll like it much better and won't have to worry about Parallels becoming unstable when your in the middle of a windows project on a Mac. |

| Posted: | | | | To comment on bootcamp etc. The only progams I want to run on OS X that are Win only are Digiguide and DVD-P. For me it's more conventient to use VMWare and load them up within OS X than boot to Windows |

| Posted: | | | | First of all let's start off with some of the points in this discussion. To reboot a computer everytime just to use Winhoze is retarted, if you do that you might as well just keep running Winhoze and not get a Mac, an emulator is the way to go I personnally like VMWare.
CakeKDC I would really appreciate the name of that program you use that keeps track of your iTunes movies and games and stuff.
I really love DVDP and I have tried and payed for others (DVDPedia to name one) and there is no competing with DVDP.
I am hoping an praying that Ken and comes up with a Mac version, that would be awesome.
As far as people complaining about the length of time between updates they really need to understand the meaning behind the phrase "If it ain't broke don't fix it." I don't mind the time between updates if I get a stable bug free or nearly bug free update. That is what makes the wait worth it.
Ken keep up the great work and thanks for a quality product. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm crossing my fingers that you'll eventually come up with an Android version of the software. There simply are no Windows Mobile cell phones that can compete, and the iPhone is simply too costly and rather limited in comparison to my Team Mobile / Google -MyTouch. BTW 1Q2010 Android operated cell phones outsold iPhone 2-1 , and it's just getting started if you ask me, it won't take long till they have a larger marketshare. I will be one of the first to buy such a product, as your mobile software is much cheaper than accidentally repurchasing movies that I already had because I couldn't remember. | | | Samsung - BD-P1400 - BD=211 & counting Denon - DVD5900 - DVD=788 Pioneer - DVL-91 - LD=650 | | | Last edited: by HDTheater |

| Posted: | | | | Any word on the Android version. Tried using the online version on my phone but my collection is so large it froze the phone up. This is one software I don't mind buying in multiple versions...it's a life saver when you have over 4600 disks in your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Count me in on a MAC version also. I have tried a few of the MAC applications and they (to put it frankly) suck.
I HATE having to run parallels just to run one or two programs and boot camp is not an option when 95% of what I do is all on MAC. |

I hope we will see a Mac version in the near future - especially as there's already an iOS app out there. Running DVDP on a Mac with CrossOver works for me, but it's far away from the experience on a Windows system which I used until a few years back. |
