| Posted: | | | | I just saw your revisions on the Wiki entry. Big thumbs up! Well done.
The only suggestion I have is to include a link to the Wiki entry at the top of the first post in this thread.

| Posted: | | | | Wine version 0.9.61 is out. This is the first of a couple of release candidate iterations of version 1.0 (due out in June) and contains a couple of minor fixes that make DVD Profiler a little better. Once 1.0 is out, updating the Wine version should become easier. There is also a new installation procedure, which makes installing DVD Profiler much easier (basically, just needing to install Gecko, as everything else is now automated). The knowldegebase is being updated now. Stuart | | | This is a sig... ... ... yay...

| Posted: | | | | Forgot to mention, Wine has made significant advancements on .NET in recent releases. From what I understand, both .NET 1 & 2 can be installed automatically using winetricks (see knowlegebase article), meaning that many more of the plugins may now function (although I haven't tested any).

| Posted: | | | | It's worth saying that Wine 1.0 is not a release of great programming significance - it' just the next of the baby steps that were the preceding versions. However, it does mark a change in future release patterns.
Up until 1.0, Wine was beta software and had fortnightly releases. Now that it is an official version, formal releases will be less frequent (possibly every few months).
I'll try and keep you informed of releases that have an impact on DVDProfiler functionality.

| Posted: | | | | Has anyone had any luck adding cast/crew photos to actor/crew profiles in DVD Profiler on a Linux system? Works fine for me under the XP side of my computer but haven't been able to get it to "work" in Mepis. |
