I am very interested in what everybody's collections look like. Would like to see some pics. Here is mine currently. I plan to build these units to make full use of this wall. Each of the units is 6ft long and 8" x 8" and holds about 122 DVDs each. I fugure I have about 8 more to make. They are made out of pine which is primed and painted with semigloss black latex.

I try to keep after them. Once a month I use a wetjet for wood floors and mop them down. I usually use a dry mop sprayed with furniture polish to get up all the pet fur. Since we have a dog and 2 cats it's a very demanding task to keep up with it all. There just aren't enough hours in the day.

Here's my 600+ collection.  Almost out of room as you can see... sigh.

Sorry about the zombie thing blocking the view at the bottom, but I built it on a whim and haven't found a place to put it just yet.  The wife was not amused.

Large version of the same picture.

I see LOTS of empty wall space - plenty of room for more DVDs!

The zombie thing is very cool

The middle unit on the right, the top looks like it's giving way

Ya, it does look kinda weird in the picture.  I think the angle and the lighting from the flash makes it look like it's leaning and about the collapse.

i thought the zombie thing was a DVD but a see you built it yourself. looks like something you could buy at a store. i see you stuck that successful zombie survival book in it. Is that a real shotgun and rounds.

i thought the same thing. the top frame of the right middle shelf looks crooked. hope it just a perspective issue Vega. don't want your shelf collapsing.
