YES he do Ken, Will this app also be developed for use with the iPod Touch? Some apps are specific to the iPhone and others work on both devices. I don't know if that's limited to offline functionality or if there are more complex issues under the hood. I'm not sure how many Touch users there are out there, but as one, I'm really looking forward to this. I lurk quite a bit on the Macrumors website's app forum, and while they can be a prickly bunch, like here they can be very helpful and some developers seem to find it useful (at least to this layman). Anyhoo, I'm already clearing space on my home screen for you... not that I'm in a rush;) |

Anyhoo, I'm already clearing space on my home screen for you... not that I'm in a rush;) Hello, no the application will be also compatible with iPod Touch. TomGaines has ask this in the first page of the topic and you can find the answer of Ken about it. Quoting Ken: Quote: Quoting TomGaines:

No, this will be available through the App store. Offline access will be available but for now will be read-only.

| Posted: | | | | Apple announced today that the new iPhone OS 3.0 will include the ability for devs to sell apps as subscription fee-based, and can include optional paid content that can be bought from right inside the app. It also will enable Bluetooth connectivity for file swapping and syncs...
This announcement today I suspect just made Ken's forthcoming iPhone app a bit more interesting... | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | New user here Ken... Very impressed, and can't wait for the iPhone App. (seeing this thread is what convinced me to finally buy DVDProfiler.) Here's a wild idea for you... any chance you could implement the ability to aim the iPhone camera at a UPC bar code on the back of a DVD and snap a picture to add it to your collection? How cool would THAT be?! |

| Posted: | | | | Ken, One more "Atta Boy" in support of the iPhone/iTouch app. I have only had an iPhone for a week, but it is the coolest new toy I've had for a long time. Keep up the good work. A loyal DVD profiler user. |
