Once you can add movies from the iPhone or the PC it would be good to have a true Sync feature.
Allow changes to happen on the PC or iPhone or Both and have they sync to the file that is online. |

When I hand my iTouch to someone to browse my collection, I don't want to worry that they'll accidentally update some attribute.

- Ray I'd rather have full editing abilities available but with an option for switching to a read only version (possibly password protected for switching back to full access). |

| | Posted: | | | | I would just like the correct pictures to be used within the app, I currently use the 'my movies' app and have only added my Blu-Rays and HD-DVDs to my profile but for some reason all cover art shows the DVD versions, not the Hidef versions. |

v1.0 - Keep It Basic & Release it Quickly
+ Database
+ Covers
+ Filtering (personally want to be able to search by running time)
+ Personalisation (watched by, etc.)
+ Sync back to website
v1.1 (or later) - Nice Extra at a later date
+ Barcode scanning to add to purchased or wishlist.
(if not easy I would be happy to continue using Red Laser (scan items, send to self as email, barcode UPCs are attached in text file) as long as I could copy and paste multiple barcodes into add DVD option.)
+ Add DVD option.
+ The best features suggested by the everyone else.

It would be cool if I could make a change on the iPad and have it instantly change the profile on my computer, if I have that feature turned on. |

| | Posted: | | | | One suggestion I had was the ability to SEND suggestions to friends with an iPhone or iPad. If they are in range, send them an e-mail or note or something which would have the movie (from your database) and the information about it, along with who sent it.
So the sender would have a note - "Recommended to Fred"
And the receiver would have a note "Recommended by 'sender'"
Would be great if you could recommend lists of films as well.
Also, if the other user had the app, it could put them in as a "Wishlist" from 'sender' for them as well. Would be a great way to share recommendations and add a "social" aspect to the program. |
