Ken, great job on the new version. So far I only tested it on my iPhone. It works great, but I encountered the following problems:

1) Search still doesn't show titles that are part of a box-set.
2) 3D Blurays now show the logo for Blu-ray 3D as well as for 2D if a 2D version is included. But Blu-rays that are in 2D don't show the 2D logo even though it is present in the desktop version.
3) There is no option to disable media banners for specific media types. In the desktop version it is possible to disable them for DVD and keep them for Blu-rays.

Edit: I now tried the iPad version and all the above applies to that as well. And the Showcase is fantastic.

1) It will if you turn off 'Nest box sets' on the settings screen.
2) This is as designed, 2D does not show unless 3D is also on. No logo = 2D
3) If you set the media banner to automatic in the app, it will pick up the settings for each cover image set on the desktop.

Thanks for the answers.
1) Yes, I know that option exists. But it would be great to be able to have the child profiles nested and still have them show up in a search.
2) Okay. It's probably better this way. There's already a lot of information crammed into a limited space.
3) That doesn't work for me. I synced several times and still get DVD banners on iOS but not on Windows.

4) Boxset thumbnails have the arrow icon to open - even if Nesting is turned off and box set contents are empty.

5) Charts are not displaying unless the device has an Internet connection.

Hi Ken!
I also like the new great update.

I have got one (old) bug and one wish on my list currently:
6) Bug (known from V 1.x): A loaned and returned video is again listed in the loaned list (as "not loaned") after synching with PC
(I tried a lot of combinations, like loaning (again) from PC or iPhone, returning from PC or iPhone)
7) Wishlist: I would like to modify the "sorting title" (equal to PC)

Best regards,
Georg

Got a couple bugs I found in the iPad 2.0 version.  The search in showcase mode has some issues. I tried searching for Tomorrow Never Dies using Tomorrow and it found nothing. However, when I just scroll through to 'T' it is clearly right there and I can bring up the results.  Some other titles the search DID work, however.  Also, while I showcase mode if I tried to rate my movie a warning about not being able to make changes popped up and said "are you sure you want to anyway?" or something like that.  When I clicked yes the app froze up. I had to use the home button and force quit it.  That bug is easily replicated.  The other odd thing is I'm not sure why it said I can't make changes as I used it to make changes in the past. I can make changes from the iPhone version no problem, but the iPad tells me I need to change it to allow updates in the Windows version every time.

Beyond the bugs-- love the new features and I really like the Showcase mode on the iPad.

Check to ensure you're entering the correct password on the update screen - you may have two passwords set in DVD Profiler, one for read-only access and one which allows changes.  Check this under Tools->Options Sharing.

I'm unable to reproduce the other two issues.  If you have more details please let me know.

Okay, after resynching with the Windows app the search problem seems to have disappeared.  Also the issue where it thought I couldn't update appears to have cleared up.  However, I did find one bug I managed to reproduce a few times still. First, I select a movie in showcase mode. Then I pick  "View Full Profile."  Then I changed the last watched date and hit "Done." When I do that, the "Done" button in the upper right corner of the full profile disappears, leaving me stuck on the profile for the movie with no way out. If I select "Edit Personal Info" the app then crashes.

I hope the missing time from the timestamp in watched events can be added.

This is on my list for fixing.  2.0.1 is in queue at Apple, so unless the testers find something critical in the mean time, this will have to wait until the next version as we are focused on the Android app now.

Good point, you did already point that out. Though you did miss the crash on Edit Personal info.

After installing 2.0.1 the DVDs unfortunately still showed media banners despite the setting being turned off in the desktop version. But I think I found a solution now.

Edit: Nope, didn't work. I guess I'll just switch the feature off for the time being.

Ken, I'm not a programmer but maybe I have a solution for the searching in box sets. I suppose right now it works something like this:
User inputs a search term
DVDP searches through all titles in the collection, but is unable to search within nested box sets
DVDP shows search results

Maybe it is possible to change the way the search works to:
User inputs search term
DVDP checks if box sets are nested and un-nests them if needed
DVDP searches through all titles in collection
DVDP shows search results
DVDP nests box sets again if needed

Something weird just happened. As I mentioned before, banners are switched off for all DVDs in the Windows version of DVDP. After installing DVDP for iOS 2.0.2 I set banners to automatic on my iPad. Every DVD I added to my collection after DVDP 2.0 was released now shows up without banners on the iPad (as I want them to). But all DVDs that were added before DVDP for iOS 2.0 show the banner. Any idea how I can fix that?

Edit: After looking at my collection again, I noticed that not all, but a large number, of my old DVDs show the banner.
