| Posted: | | | | Formatting of a profile's Release Date information honors user's preference (Android: Settings -> Date and Time -> Select Date Format), in my case DD/MM/YYYY. Purchase Date (in profile lists, in profile's main view) is formatted as DD MON YYYY (DVDP Android default?).
DVDP Android release version, build 28 & 29, Android 4.1.2 (Samsung Galaxy S2). | | | Last edited: by Ranavalone |

| Posted: | | | | Date formatting wasn't changed in this release. We use the default formats for the selected system locality. The system locality has default settings for both long and short date formats. I'll put in a note to read the selected date format override from the system settings, but note that this will likely affect only the short date format. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. | Posted: | | | | If that is the case (long vs. short date formats), let me amend my request: Please add a user setting "Always use short date format". I don't see an Android user setting which would give me control over long date formatting. The only locality-related setting seems to be Settings -> Language and input -> Language. Mine is set at "English (United Kingdom)". I think this looks just a little bit ugly (Released & Purchased dates on the same screen are formatted quite differently): Personally, I've never seen the point of long date formats, but I'm a developer, so I don't really count | | | Last edited: by Ranavalone |

My setting in the phone for date format is DD/MM/YYYY date format shown now in dvd profiler for profiles: Purchased - March 12, 2008 released 3/29/04 last watched 6/28/12 so yes, dates have changed due to something done in this release | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | I'll raise the problem with the dates as a new thread since it may be lost in this one. | | | Paul |
