I just upgraded from 2.x to 3.0 and noticed on this site that I needed to upload my collection again. So I'm trying to do that but whenever I try to log in I get the message: "The online system generated an unrecognized error. Please try again later".

Are the servers overloaded or am I doing something wrong?

Ken went out to get drunk and closed shop for the day.

But if you read around, yeah, you'll see that we were being a bit violent with it, and it's temporarily off, as they fine tune some stuff on the server.

What are you talking about? Christmas doesn't even come close to this!

Okay... Patience then...

I would love to do my contribution so I hope it won't be too long until things are running smoothly... I presume the stuff from my restored backup gets contributed if the items isn't in the central database?

Forgive me if I'm reading this incorrectly. It sounds as though you're asking will it automatically contribute profiles when you upload your online collection?

If you are then the answer is no, you need to contribute them in the normal way.

No.  He's talking about uploading his collection to what was once called MyProfiler.  I too get the same unrecognized error.

Exactly - upload to My Profiler aka. DVD Profiler Online (I think). This morning I got "404 Not found" so something is happening...

Everything else works fine as far as I can see, and I love the look of the new version! - Much more 'modern' than the old one.

Hopefully the last few bugs will be ironed out soon and we can get on with hijacking more people from alternative collection managers...

Local all is ok. Last week I add 9 HD-DVDs to my "Owned"-List. Then I change them to "Wished". Today I add 72 HD-DVDs more to the "Wishlist". When I Upload my local Collection, he always shows my first 9 HD-DVD as owned an not in the Wishlist! Error???
