I've just seen a contribution changing Willie D to Willie and the first thing I did was check the CLT - which does NOT support the change.
I was all ready to vote NO when I re-read the contributions notes and followed the link to this thread.
While I agree that supplying the link was helpful; this thread really doesn't change the fact that the rules state to use the CLT as the source for Credited As information.
I've recently updated the entire 4 seasons of Farscape - in which Lani Tupu was listed as Lani John Tupu [Lani Tupu}.
Not once was he credited as Lani John Tupu in the entire series. However, I did not change the credited as because the CLT supported the entry.
By the time I had finished the audits the results had changed and I was able to go back and change the entries and resubmit as credited.
My point is that if the CLT is not going to be used as the main source of information; how the hell is everyone else expected to know.
It would be completely correct to vote NO based on the results of the CLT. |
