If you've already purchased DVD Profiler for PC, do you have to still pay an additional $8.99 for the iOS version?

I paid $14.99 for the app a few years ago, and I still think it's a good deal.

When was it ever $14.99?  It debuted at $8.99, did it go up a bit at some point?

It would be nice if we could get a lot of things cheaper but, the price is what it is and, in my opinion, well worth it.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

They're only "connected" conceptually.  From a technical point of view, they are separate.  They were developed separately, they are maintained separately, they're two different products, two different code bases, it takes twice the man-power, etc.

They're only "connected" in the same way that Fords cars are connected to Ford trucks.  That is, they are vehicles produced by the same company and serve roughly the same function.  You wouldn't expect to buy one of those and get the other free.

Hold out for a sale all you want.  I hope one comes your way.  But until that time, you're really missing out on a great app at a fair price (my opinion of course).

Well, I think they are a little more connected than than. You can't update your Ford car from your Ford truck.

That I agree with 100%!
