| Posted: | | | | I think it would be a vital feature to offer a synch option that allows users to synch from the iPhone with their own DVD Profiler's database stored online, for example on Dropbox or Invelos' server. That would solve the the very big problem users like me have (and that makes the iOS version useless). I don't have a wi-fi network and my Internet Service Provider doesn't offer a Public IP address. |

| Posted: | | | | This would be awesome, as I'm having issues getting the sync setup even with a wifi network. |

| Posted: | | | | I second or third or whatever this ^^
would be a hell of a feature, for those poor mac-guys like me who a have a iPhone and a mac und would like to sync with the online database without emulating a win profiler with my old key... |

| Posted: | | | | I assume the delay is that Ken doesn't know what to do with the security.
At the moment with the application linking to the PC application you can have a password blocking access to the database on the PC.
As soon as you open up so the app can download all the data for a username from the invelos website then you need to start removing personal data (so others don't see this etc) since there is no password access to the website.
It may be that Ken is working hard at making changes to the internet site in preparation for this change. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Can't wait to have this feature! I run Windows on my Mac via Parralels and that doesn't work for the sync. So I have to keep a Windows computer for my collection. This is seriously the last program on my separate windows machine... As said: can't wait! |

Hi, 1. Startup Parallels desktop. 2. Open DVD profiler. 3. on Iphone open DVD profiler too 4. run on your mac "safari" and type the IP form your wireless router ex 192.168.20.1 (see your router documentation) 5. it will enable you to view your IP addresses of all connected devices ex 192.168.20.193 (can be the one of the simulated PC under parallels 6. this is the IP you need to configure on the iPhone to connect and sync DB versions
This works for me... Good luck

| Posted: | | | | Gonna add my support for this one . . . I can't make too many network changes to my laptop since it's a work laptop and has very specific network security settings. So right now my mobile version isn't worth much. |
